Performed tune up on 21-year-old Rheem air conditioner. House is not cooling off quite as well, inspected ductwork and found no issues. Checked condition of the air conditioner, unit had the correct amount of refrigerant. A few electrical components should be replaced to prevent premature failure. The reason the unit is no longer working as efficiently is due to its age and wear. No recommended repairs will increase system performance, recommend client looking to upgrade in unit

Performed tune up on air conditioner, checked filter and cleaned outdoor unit. Checked capacitors, contactor, electrical connections, refrigerant levels and amperage draw on compressor, condenser fan motor and blower. System operating upon arrival found both emergency condensate pan full of water and evaporator coil rusty, dirty and full of water. Holes and rips in ductwork, heat exchanger weak with thermal stress. Blower motor has been replaced, dual run capacitor has been replaced. Contactor burnt and pitted, restriction in evaporator coil causing it to ice and when it thaws to much water for primary drain to handle. Compressor amperage high would need hardstart kit to bring energy consumption down but due to age, conditions and efficiency recommend upgrading system. Operating upon completion

Performed diagnostic on 26 year old air conditioner. Unit was not turning off. Contactor had failed due to age/high amperage. Replaced and added a hard start kit to drop starting amps and prevent reoccurrence.

Performed tune up on air conditioner, checked filter and cleaned outdoor unit. Checked capacitors, contactor, electrical connections, refrigerant levels and amperage draw on compressor, condenser fan motor and blower. Evaporator coil plugged and condensate line not installed correctly causing water to overflow pan and drain down on heat exchanger and into blower. Coil is icing up causing system to not operate correctly. Blower dirty, leaking oil pulling high amps and blower capacitor is below manufacturer specifications. Compressor bearings going bad due to condition of system and is very loud and amperage is very high. Dual run capacitor out of manufacturer specifications and contactor is burnt and pitted. Repairs can be done but will only be a temporary fix due to age and condition of system

Performed diagnostic on 5 year old Carrier. Client concerned with the amount of condensation the AC was producing. Found everything to be working well except the AC was low on 410a Refrigerant which can cause the unit to produce excess moisture. Charged unit to required refrigerant levels and explained that condensation like that is completely normal. Joined maintenance program

Performing precision tune up service on 2002 Trane condenser for one of our awesome certified members. Cleaned out system, checked all safety and electrical components. System in good working order at this time. Added compressor saver kit to protect motor and help system last as long as possible. Looking forward to keeping clients nice and cool during the brutal summer months in Bay Point.
