Performed tune up on furnace and air conditioner Furnace has long delay before starting, air conditioner operating upon arrival Filter not installed and unknown last time it was changed Blower assembly dirty, adds stress to motor, lowers airflow and reduces indoor air quality Evaporator coil plugged which lowers efficiency of air conditioning 20%, reduces indoor air quality and adds stress to heat exchanger in heating season because of reduction in airflow Blower capacitor is incorrect size, should be a 5mfd currently a 7.5mfd Blower motor amperage is high which has a higher chance of failure Heat exchanger has thermal stress and rust Burners are rusty due to efficiency in furnace Circuit board has burn marks which means it is at a higher chance of failure Dual run capacitor in air conditioner is below manufacturer specifications which means a higher risk of failure and additional stress on compressor Contactor burnt and pitted Start up amperage high which results in higher

Performed tune up on two air-conditioning units. Unit for upstairs was not cooling. It was low on refrigerant, added refrigerant unit is now cooling properly. Downstairs unit was running but had a component that needed to be replaced. Both units in fairly decent shape. Client had sub par attic insulationAs well. Client Julian maintenance program to keep systems operating properly

Performed late night emergency diagnostic on failed 10 year old Carrier air conditioner. Found failed dual run capacitor, clogged drain line causing water to overflow into furnace compartment and blower motor at max power consumption and blower capacitor below spec.
