Performed late night emergency diagnostic on failed 10 year old Carrier air conditioner. Found failed dual run capacitor, clogged drain line causing water to overflow into furnace compartment and blower motor at max power consumption and blower capacitor below spec.
Replaced breaker for air conditioner that was not cooling. Breaker would repeatedly trip. Unit running well.
Performed diagnostic on 18 year old Carrier. Not cooling the home. Weak airflow throughout the home. Failed component on the AC, replaced. Upstairs zone wasn’t opening allowing air the cool the upstairs. Unit will likely fail again so client is looking into upgrading unit to be more efficient and keep them comfortable. Left door hangers for discounted tune ups to all the neighbors.
Performing AC tune up service on 2007 Carrier condenser and high efficiency furnace. Cleared out drain system, checked electrical and safety components, checked refrigerant level, tested motor amperages, and went over options for solar. Clients are now Certified members and we look forward to keeping them comfortable in their beautiful home for many years to come. Thank you for choosing Certified!
Going over pricing for heat pump system to work directly off of client’s new solar on the roof. Heat pump is fully electric and give the added benefit of not only being a more efficient system but also removes the gas bill for heating the home during cold winter months. Went over different options to give client best information possible and set up a time to return and perform a full tune up on the existing system to see what will work best for the homeowners.
AC Tune Up on 18 year old Goodman. Unit needs several repairs. Because of the cost and the high utility bill, client would like to upgrade to a newer more efficient system.
Performed tune up on air conditioner, cleaned filter and outdoor unit. Checked capacitor, contactor, electrical connections, refrigerant levels and amperage draw on compressor, condenser fan motor and blower. System running perfectly all electrical components in good working order and within spec.
Performed tune up on air conditioner, cleaned filter and outdoor unit. Checked capacitors, contactor, electrical connections, refrigerant levels and amperage draw on compressor, condenser fan motor and blower. LRA on compressor at 145 amps which is very high causing stress on compressor and high utility costs, added two pounds R22 per tune up special. Blower motor at max amps and makes loud grinding noise on start up and blower capacitor out of spec. Dual run capacitor below spec as well, contactor burnt and pitted. Condenser fan motor at max amps. System 22 years old and cooling but not well
Performed two system air conditioner tune up, cleaned filters and outdoor units. Checked capacitors, contactors, electrical connections, refrigerant levels and amperage draw on compressor, condenser fan motor and blower. Downstairs system from 2012 upstairs from 1984. Downstairs system in good shape recommend hardstart kit. Upstairs system in poor shape, condensate line needs to be redone, add safety switch, coil rusty blower using more power than manufacturer allows and ductwork undersized for system
Performed diagnostic on air conditioner found filter clogged, blower assembly and evaporator coil clogged and need cleaning. Condenser fan motor failing, dual run capacitor below spec rated 35/5 currently at 12.5/1. Compressor amperage high with low demand at 70 degrees outside. Leaking schrader valves R22 system 16 years old. Returning at later time to go over replacement options
Performing emergency AC diagnostic service on 2009 Trane condenser. Discovered that the contactor failed and was not supplying 24v across, which prevents the system from starting up. Pressure switch on refrigerant line also failed. Ordering new part and was able to get the system temporarily up and running to keep our new certified members cool on this very hot summer day in Danville.
AC maintenance on a brand new installed by Certified Solar Heating and Air Conditioning, American Standard split unit system . Happy to report everything is work as designed and the Wallace’s should have a cool oasis out of the heat this summer.
Performing AC tune up on 1998 Bryant condenser and 1997 Bryant high efficiency furnace. Discovered that condition of system was hidden from new homeowners - someone painted over the rust to hide the poor condition of the furnace. Refrigerant is not balanced properly. Made recommendations for much needed repairs and went over replacement options.
No cool diagnostic ripped wire from under neath the house replaced ac up and running
Giving estimate to replace a 1989 Carrier system with a more efficient system using the PACE program (California First). Clients will be very happy with their new system and have peace of mind knowing that they will make it through the cold winters and brutally hot summers for many years to come!
Maybe time to replace pretty soon.
