Performed tune up on air conditioner. Upon arrival found system operating but not cooling well, continued with tune up found system has two returns. One has filter the other does not. Found ductwork in poor shape and not designed properly with 3 tons of airflow, four ton furnace and a five ton air conditioner and coil. Not designed or installed correctly. Blower motor leaking oil, bearings failing had to adjust wheel to stop grinding noise. Blower capacitor below manufacturer specifications and blower housing dirty from half air not being filtered. Gas not hardpiped out of furnace which is a safety issue. Outdoor unit has leak in service valve and possibly other locations, very low on refrigerant and Dual run capacitor below manufacturer specifications. Compressor is at max allowed amperage draw with outdoor temp at 80 degrees. System and ductwork need replacement. System operates upon completion but still not cooling, declined repairs.
Performing diagnostic service on 1994 carrier condenser, system not running. Diagnosed failed dual capacitor due to overamping compressor motor. System has been working extra hard due to evaporator coil being almost completely blocked with dust and debris. Cleaned coil to improve airflow and replaced dual capacitor, added hard start kit to protect compressor motor as a temporary fix. Will return to go over replacement options and hang out with client’s adorable 3 month old baby! Thank you!
Performed diagnostic on heat pump found dual run capacitor failed, replaced with new and tested system. Compressor amperage very high as well as condenser fan motor. Refrigerant pressures are off because of failing metering device on indoor unit. 15 year old R22 System on roof recommend replacement. Because of failing metering device system operating but not well and cannot guarantee system will continue to operate through summer
Performed tune up on air conditioner, checked filter and cleaned outdoor unit. Checked capacitors, contactor, electrical connections, refrigerant levels and amperage draw on compressor, condenser fan motor and blower. System installed as side job, furnace from 2002 and refurbished and air conditioner from 2007 R22. Free top off special, added refrigerant to try to balance issues with metering device and undersized return. Blower motor leaking a lot of oil and amperage is high. When system starts it causes lights in home to flicker and compressor amperage is high on start up. Recommend new blower with capacitor and hardstart kit
Ac maintenance and repair
Performed diagnostic on 16 year old American Standard. Not cooling the home. Indoor coil turning to an ice block due to restricted air flow. This has been going on for some time causing current system to fail.
Performed diagnostic on air conditioner not blowing air. Blower capacitor went bad. Replaced and system is working great
Furnace blower running continuously due to tripped high limit safety switch in furnace which was caused by no filter in the system which caused the blower to get dirty and the indoor section of the air conditioner called the evaporator coil to get completely clogged. That clog caused the motor to run so hard the grease has started to melt and seep out which is its lubricant. Control board has burn marks also caused by heat remaining in system, capacitor is below manufacturer specifications.
Ac maintenance making sure all is working for these hot days
No heat system won’t come on at all and client has small children Certified is here to save the day.
Performing diagnostic service on older Cozy wall furnace. Relit pilot, got system to start up but gas valve is failing.
