Very impressed with Certfied, from the first call to my latest inspection. Their prices are extremely fair. They are always pleasant on the phone, tell and remind you when the technician is arriving, the technicians have arrived as promised, conducted their inspections and repair if needed, estimate of appointment time was exact. Everyone has been professional, nice and knowledgeable. I signed up for their monthly performance agreement and could not be more thrilled with their service. Very, very happy!

Performed air conditioner tune up on 14 year old Carrier. Unit was very loud when starting up. I was able to correct that with the help of some Angry Birds
Perform air conditioner tune up on 19 year old Goodman ac with a 29 year old Day and Night furnace. Systems are in decent shape, mostly in need of a cleaning. The ac was a bigger unit than the furnace was meant for, this caused some excess wear on the air conditioner. Current system is no longer as efficient as it once was because of those factors
Performed diagnostic on air conditioner found system low on R410A refrigerant added three pounds and system is cooling at this time. There is a leak in the system and a leak search and repair should be done. If leak is in the indoor or outdoor coil replacement will be needed
Performing AC diagnostic service on 2006 York condenser that was nonfunctional on arrival. Diagnosed failed high voltage fuses and replaced to get the system started. Diagnosed cause of fuse failure to be overamping compressor motor, added hard start kit to protect motor and lower amperage, topped off R-22 refrigerant for proper balance. System is now effectively cooling the home! Thank you for choosing Certified!
Performing diagnostic service on 1979 BDP condenser that runs but is not cooling the home. Discovered the system has a R-22 refrigerant leak and levels are extremely low. Gave repair and replacement options for condenser and coil, as well as full system. Looking forward to working with our new client to provide heating and cooling for many years to come!
Diagnostic on air conditioner that works but not well, 15 year old Frigidaire R22 system. Capacitors our of range, compressor amperage high causing stress on system as well as high utility costs. Blower is in same condition and indoor section of air conditioner dirty causing loss in efficiency and improper cooling
Performing precision tune up service on 1993 Day & Night condenser with 1985 carrier furnace. Cleaned up system, inspected and tested all electrical and safety components. System has a lot of wear from age and overheating inside furnace. Tested refrigerant, levels are balanced since previous leak repair. Compressor motor is overamping during start up - went over repair options as well as replacement options with client.
Performing diagnostic service on 2000 Bryant furnace which was not functioning. Diagnosed failed igniter and replaced per client. Inspected system to determine cause of failure, lack of airflow due to several closed vents has been causing the system to overheat. Advised client to open all vents for adequate airflow to keep the inside of the furnace cool and recommended having annual service performed. Client became our newest Certified member!
Performing annual maintenance on 1992 Day & Night condenser for our Certified members. System was not functional on arrival, discovered that something chewed through the low voltage wires going outside. Cut back the chewed wires and put in wire nuts, secured the lines and taped them under the refrigerant lines to prevent any more chewing. Cleaned evaporator coil to improve airflow and lower static pressure, refrigerant levels are good and added compressor saver kit to keep system running.
System making grinding noise when inducer motor has been running for one minute. Found that the blower motor was set to come on too early which was causing the inducer motor to have a vibration inside from the expansion of the heated metal. Readjusted blower start up time and noise is no longer happening. Clients are very happy with the Certified team and we look forward to working with them again when we return for their annual maintenance visit under our Certified membership plan.
Client is happy and getting a new system. For hear hot upcoming days.
